Karachi witnessed another sad incident today morning as a residential building collapsed today, on Thursday.
According to the details, a building collapsed in Karachi’s Korangi area. At least seven people have been injured and there are fears eight to 10 people may be stuck underneath the rubble.
The four-story building is situated in Allahwala Town. Seven injured people, including two children, were pulled out from beneath the rubble and shifted to a hospital.
Police and rescue teams arrived at the scene and dispersing people from the incident place. Heavy machinery is being used for lifting rubble to find people trapped underneath.
It has not been confirmed that there were people in the building at the time of the collapse.
Sources said the building was constructed over the china cutting land and serious violations of the rules and regulation were made during construction.
