Four more Kashmiris have been martyred by Indian forces in Shopian district, taking the tally to 9 martyrdoms in the last 24 hours in in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK).
The four Kashmiri youth were martyred in gun battle with Indian troops in a so called search operation after the Indian forces cordoned off the Pinjoora area of the Shopian district.
Prior to this, another five Kashmiris were killed by Indian forces in the same area the day before, whereas three Indian army personnel were reported to have been injured in the firefight.

A communications blackout has been imposed as Indian authorities have suspended internet services in the area.
Furthermore, Indian forces have been continuing their search operations Srinagar, Baramulla, Bandipore, Kupwara, Ganderbal, Budgam, Islamabad, Pulwama, Kulgam, Ramban, Rajouri, Poonch, Kisthwar, Doda and various other localities of the disputed territory.
Earlier, Pakistan had condemned the ‘extra judicial killings’ of 13 Kashmiris in a single day last week, urging the international community to take ‘immediate steps to stop India from committing serious crimes against the Kashmiri people and hold it accountable under international law and relevant human rights Conventions’.
