Four Frontier Corps (FC) soldiers have been martyred in Balochistan in a cross border attack from Afghanistan on Wednesday (today).
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), FC troops were busy in border fencing operations when they were ambushed by terrorists from Afghanistan in Manzakai Sector, District Zhob, Balochistan.
Four FC solders embraced martyrdom whereas six were wounded in the terrorist attack.
The martyred soldiers have been identified as Havaldar Noor Zaman, Sepoy Shakeel Abbas, Sepoy Ehsan Ullah and Naik Sultan.
FC soldiers ensured befitting response to the terrorists. Meanwhile, the wounded soldiers have been shifted to CMH Quetta, said the army spokesperson.

Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has condemned the terrorist attack and has offered condolences on the martyrdom of FC soldiers.
The federal minister reiterated that terrorists will not succeed in damaging armed forces’ resolve. He also reiterated that border fencing along Pak-Afghan border will be completed no matter what.
