At least four Frontier Corps (FC) personnel have been martyred in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack in Quetta on Monday (today).
As per details, the IED blast targeted FC soldiers on Marget-Quetta road who were part of security details for Marget Mines.
The martyred soldiers have been identified as Subedar Sardar All Khan – resident of Wanda Lungar Kel, Laki Marwat; Sepoy Musaddaf Hussain – resident of Chak 272 EB, Vehari; Sepoy Muhammad Anwar – resident of Wanda Talgi, DI Khan and Sepoy Awais Khan – resident of village Bandal, Neelum.
According to ISPR, security forces have launched a search operation in the area to hunt down the terrorists behind the cowardly act.
The military spokesperson reiterated that such craven attacks will fail to sabotage Balochistan’s peace and prosperity as security forces are committed to counter such reprehensible attempts at destabilizing the province.
