Four employees of Lahore Grammar School (LGS)on Tuesday, have been sacked over sexual harassment allegations against female students.
According to details, four employees of the prestigious LGS, Lahore, including administration officer Aitzaz, accountant Omar, a security guard named Shehzad and chemistry teacher Zahid Warraich were fired after the school administration found them guilty of sexual harassment of female students at the facility.
The development comes after several female students took to social media platforms to complain against the sexual harassment at the campus. The students revealed that they were being sexually harassed by these individuals since 2016 and had reached out several times to the school administration, but no action was taken against them which forced them to go public.
Lahore Grammar School administration has responded to the development announcing that the accused personnel have been fired after their guilt was proven via various videos, photographs and screenshots of ‘inappropriate’ messages sent to female students by them.

Federal Minister for Human Rights – Shireen Mazari has taken notice of the incident stating that people can contact at ministry’s helpline 1099 to register their complaints.
Meanwhile District Education Authority Lahore has formed a three-member committee under Government Islamia High School Principal Ghyas Sabir, to investigate the matter.
