Prime Minister Imran Khan, on Monday, announced that the federal government will subsidize the donations of Corona Relief Fund and will add Rs 4 for every rupee donated to the relief fund.
PM Imran Khan took to twitter to announce the government initiative to subsidize the donations being made to PM’s Corona Relief Fund.
“For every rupee donated, government will give 4 more,” he tweeted.
Furthermore, he added that the financial assistance being provided by PM’s Corona Relief Fund will abide to transparency regulations and data of Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme.
It is to be noted that PM’s Corona Relief Fund was launched on the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan to collect donations from both within Pakistan and from overseas Pakistanis to support and provide financial assistance to the people facing severe economic repercussions of coronavirus crisis. More than Rs 3 billion have been collected in the relief fund.
