Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MNA Nafisa Shah has said that all is not lost yet, Pakistan should pay heed to the World Health Organisation’s recommendation and opt for an “intermittent lockdown”.
Addeessing the national assembly on Wednesday, PPP leader said that WHO recommended to lock the country down for two weeks and then spend the next two under restrictions; government must listen to them and save lives.
Shah further said that the government did not define the term “smart lockdown” before presenting it to the people.
“They did everything they wanted in this so-called smart lockdown. The price of basic food items went up. A thief was sent away out of the country in the dark of the night and petrol is nowhere to be found.,” she added.
