Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has once again reiterated Pakistan’s commitment and progressive role for Afghan Peace Process.
During his virtual meeting with Gregory Meeks – Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee USA, FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi accentuated Pakistan’s positive role in facilitating Afghan Peace Process, further linking peaceful Afghanistan to a peaceful region and stable Pakistan as well.
The foreign minister also stressed upon the significance of bilateral cooperation between USA and Pakistan and how it is essential for peace and stability.

FM Qureshi also apprised the US legislator of Pakistan’s concerns regarding the growing Islamophobia and anti-Islam, anti-Muslim sentiments and incidents in the west.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee, US House of Representative Mr Gregory Meeks termed Pakistan as a significant regional partner and praised the country’s efforts for peace and stability in the region.
The US official also offered his condolences over the demise of four members of Pakistani-origin Canadian family in an Islamophobic car attack.
