Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, on Friday, warned of the possibility of false flag operation by India.
FM Qureshi has highlighted the fact that India has strained diplomatic relations with its neighbors, and it is currently involved in border disputes with three out of its four neighbors.
India has been involved in border altercations with China, Pakistan and Nepal, and could resort to a ‘false flag operation’ against Pakistan to divert public attention from recent escalation at its Ladakh border with China.

Furthermore, Shah Mahmood Qureshi rebuked the perception that India’s induction as a non-permanent member of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is in some way Pakistan’s failure. He highlighted the fact that non-permanent members of UNSC are elected on rotational basis for a period of two years and that both countries have been elected seven times each.
In addition to it, the foreign minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve to respond to any Indian aggression, and India will get a ‘befitting response’ in case of any misadventure.
