Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has warned of possible aggression and ‘surgical strike’ by India.
Expressing his views in a press-briefing in Abu Dhabi, FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi revealed that India was preparing for conducting ‘surgical strike’ against Pakistan after its false, fake news propaganda campaign was exposed in EU DisinfoLab’ report.
Quoting reports, warnings received from intelligence agencies, FM Qureshi said that India had planned to resort to cross-border aggression and support terrorism in Pakistan after its targeted propaganda campaign racket was busted.
The foreign minister highlighted that Narendra Modi led Indian government is rattled by farmers’ protest and COVID-19 pandemic and this ‘planned’ aggression against Pakistan was meant to divert attention from internal dissent and turmoil.
He noted that India’s notorious NRC, and CAA initiatives have resulted in serious discontent among country’s religious minorities especially Sikhs, Muslims and Dalit Hindus.
Qureshi reassured that Pakistan is fully prepared to tackle and neutralize India’s designs as it did in February 2019.
