Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Friday, discussed bilateral relations with his Malaysian counterpart via telephonic conversation.
FM Qureshi held a telephonic conversation with Malaysian Foreign Minister Dato Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein to discuss matters of mutual concerns and cooperation.
According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shah Mahmood Qureshi reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to further enhance the strategic partnership with Malaysia and deepen bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, education, science and technology, and people-to-people contacts.
Qureshi also lauded Malaysian government’s measures for ensuring the well-being of Pakistani expatriates residing in Malaysia.
The two dignitaries stressed upon improving bilateral ties and reaffirmed commitment to further enhance cooperation between the two countries.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi also extended his best wishes to Malaysia for the APEC Summit 2020 scheduled to be held in December this year.
