At least five people are said to have been wounded in Quetta blast on Monday (today).
The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital after a blast was reported in Quetta’s Qambrani Road, confirmed Balochistan government spokesperson Liaquat Shahwani.
According to SP Sariab Akhlaqullah Tarar, the explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) which was planted on the roadside.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan has strongly condemned the terrorist incident reaffirming that targeting of civilians will not be tolerated and also reiterated government’s resolve for protecting people’s lives.
It is to be noted that seven people, including three leaders of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam were killed and 14 others were injured in a bomb attack in the border town of Chaman, Qila Abdullah district.
