The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested three individuals in Karachi suspected of working for Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).
Zafar Khan, one of the suspect is an employee of Karachi fire brigade department and is accused of spending 14 months in India where he purportedly received extensive training making explosive devices and using advanced weapons.
According to FIA officials, the other two suspects are employees of a money exchange company and are a part of RAW sleeper cell and were involved in financing anti-state elements.
FIA has accused the three individuals of being involved in various terrorism incidents in Pakistan on the behest of Indian government and direct instructions from its premier intelligence agency RAW.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.
Prior to this, Asif Siddiqui, a grade-17 government officer and Shahzad Pervez (ASI) were remanded in FIA custody on charges of being associated with RAW and MQM-London, back in May 2020.
