Federal government is expected to present its financial budget for the next fiscal year on June 12
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan has given green light to present the fiscal budget for the year 2020-2021 in National Assembly on June 12.
The officials from the ministry of finance along with other relevant officers have been barred from leaving the federal capital and have been instructed to the timely completion of the formation of the financial budget for the next year.
The budget for the upcoming fiscal year is expected to reflect significant reduction in financial and economic targets due to the coronavirus pandemic and its resulting aftermath on the global economy as well Pakistan’s domestic economic environment and circumstances.
It is to be noted that the government has already scheduled the longest National Assembly session in country’s history, starting from June 5 and will end on August 13.
