The veteran politician got screened for coronavirus at Indus Hospital in Karachi. His test reports came back positive for the novel virus.
As a result, Farooq Sattar is said to have suspended all his public dealings, arrangements and is now in quarantine as required by the recommended SOPs for COVID-19 patients.
The development comes as earlier, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Qamar Zaman Kaira had tested positive for coronavirus.
