The Punjab drug control team seized on Saturday fake skin creams and chemicals worth Rs 0.8 million.
According to the health department, clobetasol was being used in fake allopathic medicines. The drug team had seized all the fake products.
The samples of the chemicals and products were sent for testing at the laboratories.
Moreover, the factory owner admitted to preparing the products without a licence.
On this occasion, Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir examined the prepared products at the derma unit.
Nazir made it clear that no compromise will be made and strict action will be taken against the preparation and sale of fake medicines.
The Punjab health minister had urged the masses to use the certified brands on the advice of the certified doctors.
