Sindh High Court (SHC) on Friday, directed authorities to postpone entry tests for medical colleges in Sindh.
A two-member SHC bench in its order, directed government to postpone entry tests for medical colleges in Sindh scheduled to be held in October 18th.
As per details, more than 30,000 students were expected to appear for the entry tests under National Testing Service (NTS) for medical colleges in Sindh.
During the hearing, the court directed federal government and Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) to submit their replies over the matter by October 22nd.
MDCAT is a prerequisite for getting admission MBBS and BDS programmes in both public and private medical colleges.
The court has issued notices to the official respondents and the advocate general Sindh to submit their comments on the petitions challenging the testing system for admission in MBBS and BDS programmes.
