Edhi Foundation’s ‘115’ emergency helpline is reported to have been down due to technical issues on Wednesday (today).
Edhi Foundation – the largest welfare and emergency response service of Pakistan, on Wednesday, announced that its 115 emergency helpline is down due to technical fault.
According to Edhi sources, its emergency helpline is down due to technical fault in Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited (PTCL) line.
PTCL has been apprised of the issue and repair work is said to have been underway.

It will take at least one day to resolve the technical fault, said PTCL.
It is to be note that Edhi Foundation is the largest welfare and emergency response service in Pakistan and plays a crucial and indispensable role in dealing with emergency situations across the country due to lack of any comprehensive government service and structure in this domain.
