A senior fellow at Bolan Medical Complex (BMC), passed away on Thursday due to COVID-19 coronavirus.
According to details, Dr Zubair Khan was in charge of Trauma Centre at the BMC and had been diagnosed with the novel virus few days ago, and was being treated in Quetta.
Dosteen Khan Jamaldini – provincial health secretary and Dr. Muhammad Saleem Abro – Director General Health Services have expressed regret over the death of Dr Zubair and have offered condolences to the deceased family.
Earlier, former Balochistan governor Syed Fazal Agha had died of coronavirus on May 21.
Balochistan has reported a total of 3,928 confirmed coronavirus cases, with 43 casualties so far.
