Dr Sania Nishtar – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Social Protection, on Tuesday, expressed satisfaction over National Database & Registration Authority’s (NADRA) role in dealing and facilitating the beneficiaries of Ehsaas Emergency Cash program.
While visiting a NADRA Mega Center in Islamabad, she expressed satisfaction over the measures taken by NADRA officials to resume operations amid COVID-19 outbreak in order to facilitate the applicants of Ehsaas Emergency Cash program.
It is to be noted that earlier, on Monday, government had announced to reopen NADRA offices across Pakistan to facilitate the general public after a brief suspension in operations due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
NADRA offices are now open from 10am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, and 10am-1pm on Friday.
NADRA officials have advised people to call ‘7000’ and obtain necessary information and guidelines before visiting NADRA branches.
Employees, as well as the citizens visiting NADRA centres across the country will be subjected to the strict healthcare SOPs and guidelines recommended by the government amid COVID-19 crisis.
