The Sindh High Court has temporarily suspended 20% fees reduction of private institutes of Sindh here on Thursday.
The court said in the hearing that government-imposed deduction is temporarily being suspended.
Meanwhile, schools are bound to pay full salary to their teaching and non-teaching staff any private school or the association of the schools, responsible for their affairs.
This action is against the system of natural justice and not permitted in the law.

Earlier, the Sindh government asked private institutes to grant a 20% fee reduction on account of coronavirus crisis. Since the order has been challenged in the court by the private institutions as they are already facing a financial crisis because of the sudden closure of schools.
The next hearing is scheduled for 22nd April 2020.
