Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Monday, apprehended three terrorists plotting to attack Islamabad Stock Exchange.
As per details, CTD arrested three terrorists from Rawalpindi’s River Sawan area who were planning a terrorist attack on Islamabad Stock Exchange.
The apprehended militants were also involved Rawalpindi bomb blast, said CTD officials.
The terrorists have admitted to carrying out four other terrorist attacks in Pakistan, read the statement issued by CTD.
The miscreants had received financial support from organizations operating from neighboring Afghanistan.
Security forces also recovered explosives from the arrested terrorists.
