PSL 6 Postponement And UAE Leg
A total of 14 PSL 6 matches were held in Pakistan after the tournament was postponed in March 2021 earlier this year after several players, officials tested positive for COVID-19.
PCB further faced issues to resume the postponed cricket tournament after UAE placed Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India and South Africa on its COVID-19 ‘red list’.
However, due to significant decrease in COVID-19 cases and following inoculation of players, officials and other staff, PCB struck a deal with UAE government to resume PSL 6 and hold remaining 20 matches in the gulf country.
According to PCB, the PSL 6 matches will start at 17:00 UAE time (1800 PKT time) and 22:00 UAE time (2300 PKT time), respectively, while the single-headers will begin at 20:00 UAE time (21:00 PKT time) respectively; toss to take place half an hour before start.
