Pakistan has started COVID-19 vaccination for people aged 30 and above as the nation’s coronavirus positivity rate recorded at 4.42 % on Saturday (today).
Following the approval of National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), government has initiated walk-in COVID-19 vaccination for people aged 30 and above along with teachers over 18 years of age.
Pakistan conducted a total of 55,442 COVID-19 tests during the last 24 hours of which 2,455 came back positive with a positivity ratio of 4.42 %. Meanwhile, 73 people succumbed to the novel virus during this time period.

In the NCOC meeting today it was decided to open up walk in vaccination for 30 plus from tomorrow . So if you are 30 or older and registered please go to any vaccination centre and get vaccinated

Pakistan’s total COVID-19 tally stands at 916,239 cases with 20,680 casualties so far. A total of 836,702 people have successfully recovered from the novel virus whereas 4,083 are still in critical condition.
Meanwhile, a total of 6,130,509 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered across the contry as part of the ongoing nation-wide inoculation drive.
3,180,246 people have been partially vaccinated against COVID-19, whereas 1,513,144 people have been fully vaccinated against the virus.
