National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has decided to form especial monitoring teams to oversee the implementation of COVID-19 SOPs and preventive measure across country.
As per details, NCOC meeting headed by Federal Minister for Planning and Development – Asad Umar which was also attended by National Coordinator Lieutenant General Hamood Uz Zaman Khan, SAPM on Health Dr Faisal Sultan and other senior officials, has decided to establish monitoring teams for the implementation of COVID-19 SOPs from May 8th to May 16th.

According to NCOC, all tourist resorts, formal and informal picnic spots, public parks, shopping malls; all hotels and restaurants in/around tourist/ picnic spots will remain closed between May 8th to May 16th.
Exemptions during 8-16 May 21: (1/2)
1. Groceries shops, Bakeries and Sweet shops are allowed to remain open on daily basis till 06:00 pm for the duration from 8 – 16 May 21.

3.Takeaways are allowed 24/7 with immediate effect.

However, grocery shops, bakeries, sweet shops will be allowed to operate till 6 pm, whereas tandoors and milk shops will be allowed to remain open for 24 hours.
Furthermore, restaurants will also be allowed to resume their takeaway operations round the clock along with e-commerce, utility services, telecom sector and media fields.
