ISLAMABAD: Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman, former Chairman of Higher Education Commission (HEC) has supported the claim of former diplomat Abdullah Hussain Haroon that COVID-19 is a bioweapon.
Adding to the on-going speculations and conspiracies about the novel coronavirus, Abdullah Hussain Haroon also made it to the headlines through his claim that coronavirus was created by UK, Israel and USA in their labs to attack China.
Mr. Haroon explained his theory that military labs by the aforementioned countries were used to conduct research on bioweapons, however, the labs was sealed after the leakage of the chemical; not sure whether the chemical leakage was an accident or a deliberate attempt.
He expressed his thoughts in an interview, debunking westerns conspiracies against China an claiming that the pandemic originated in the laboratories of US and UK for the first time, not Wuhan.
