Judicial magistrate on Monday remanded renowned actor Sajid Hasan’s son, Sahir Hasan, into police custody for a day in drugs case.
Sahir Hasan was taken into custody by police during a crackdown on drugs business following the Mustafa Amir murder case in Karachi.
The son of a renowned actor was produced before the judicial magistrate for remand. The police pleaded with the court for a five-day physical remand of Sahir Hasan, while the court only granted a day remand.
The investigation team conducted raids in many areas of the Defence Housing Authority (DHA), targeting drug peddlers and apprehended four individuals, including the son of Dhoop Kinare actor.
According to police, suspects, including the actor’s son, were detained on charges of drug trafficking and will be interrogated accordingly.
The CIA Police claimed to have recovered drugs, including foreign brands, worth Rs 5 million from Sahir Hasan’s possession.
