Karachi: Chief Minister Sindh, Murad Ali Shah has ordered a ban on public gatherings and have instructed wedding halls, shrines and cinema to be closed due to coronavirus pandemic.
Presiding over a meeting of Disaster Management Cell, Chief Minister lauded the efforts by various government departments in curtailing the spread of coronavirus. He further directed Chief secretary to issue a notification regarding National Institute of Management (NIM) being closed due to virus outbreak.
In addition, the provincial ministers have also been instructed to abstain from attending public events and gatherings.
