United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced to suspend all flights from Pakistan due to coronavirus fears.
UAE authorities have temporarily suspended all inbound flights from Pakistan citing unsatisfactory screening procedure of passengers which can result in further coronavirus spread endangering the lives of people living in the UAE.
“The General Civil Aviation Authority of the UAE has announced the suspension of all inbound passenger flights including transiting flights, from Pakistan until the country establishes a process of laboratory testing for Covid-19 for all departing travelers on route to the UAE,” read the statement issued by UAE government.

The development comes after 26 passengers had tested positive for coronavirus on Emirates flight to Hong Kong on June 20.
Prior to this South Korea had also announced a temporary ban on passengers from Pakistan and Bangladesh after several air travelers from tested positive for COVID-19 coronavirus.
