Coronavirus is on an alarming rise throughout the world with more than 100,000 cases reported so far. World Health Organization (WHO), however, has yet to call it pandemic.
WHO says that coronavirus is at the verge of becoming a pandemic but has not turned into one yet as there have been reported only a few cases in some countries while in many countries, the upsurge as well as its containment is not “hopeless”.
Many epidemiologists and independent observers have shown disagreement with WHO, stating that the novel coronavirus has entered the phase where it is germane to call it an actual pandemic.
