Karachi: Awais Qadir Shah, provincial minister for transport and mass transit, has announced a temporary ban on smoking in public transport.
Provincial minister has also directed transporters to strictly abide by the regulations limit the passenger count to the actual capacity of vehicles.
Passengers have been advised to abstain from physical contact and use masks while using public transport.
Mr. Shah stated, “Bus owners should keep hand sanitizers in buses, coaches.”
