Seven Lahore neighborhoods, on Saturday, have been de-sealed after reporting a significant fall in coronavirus cases.
District administration on Saturday, lifted smart lockdown directives and de-sealed seven Lahore neighborhoods after a significant improvement in COVID-19 coronavirus situation in these localities.
According to details, areas de-sealed on Saturday include Model Town, DHA, Gulshan Ravi, Faisal Town, Garden Town and walled city (old city) localities.
It is to be noted that these neighborhoods were sealed-on June 24.

Prior to this around 61 areas were de-sealed in Lahore on July 1, which included various neighborhoods of Johar Town, Canal View Society, Wapda Town, PCSIR, DHA (phase I,III,V), Askari X, Old Anarkali, Kareem Park, Shadbagh (Gol Bagh), Mohalla Shah Noor, Darogawala and others.
Punjab has reported second highest coronavirus tally in the country with 80,297 COVID-19 cases, 42,854 recoveries and 1,844 deaths so far.
