Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar javed Bajwa has announced that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) employees who have tested positive for the novel virus will be treated at Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
Air Marshal Arshad Malik – CEO PIA, has expressed his gratitude to COAS for offering medical assistance amid COVID-19 crisis.
Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has also announced its decision to reserve special seats for PIA employees in its C-130 cargo plane fleet.
It is imperative to know that PIA employees, including ground staff and flight crew have continued to serve and several of them have contracted the novel virus, in wake of the special flight operations initiated by government to bring back stranded Pakistani citizens from various countries amid COVID-19 travel restrictions.
