Pakistan, on Tuesday, reported the lowest daily tally in two months with 1,013 new coronavirus cases.
According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) a total of 17,783 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, of which 1,103 came back positive, taking the country’s total tally to 266,095 COVID-19 cases.
Meanwhile, country’s COVID-19 death toll stands at 5,639 as 40 people are reported to have been died due to the novel virus within the last 24 hours.
However, it is imperative to know that Pakistan’s coronavirus graph has been witnessing a downward trend for few weeks as the number of recovered patients have rose to 208,030, whereas, 1,481 are in critical condition and are being treated at various facilities across the country.
