Pakistan, on Saturday, reported deadliest of COVID-19 with 153 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 3,382.
According to the latest figures issued by National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 31,681 coronavirus tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, of which 6,604 came back positive, taking the country’s tally to 171,666 COVID-19 cases.

Sindh has been the worst hit province with 65,163 coronavirus cases followed by Punjab – 64,216, Balochistan – 9,162, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – 20,790, Gilgit Baltistan – 1,253, Islamabad 10,279 and Azad Kashmir has reported 803 coronavirus cases so far.
Prior to this Pakistan’s highest COVID-19 death toll in a single day was reported on June 17 with 136 casualties.
