Karachi: Murad Ali Shah has directed the authorities to establish quarantine facilities in Kotri and Hyderabad on Sukkur model.
CM Sindh, Murad Ali Shah chaired a meeting to review quarantine measures in Sukkur and the decision has been made to convert one block of Sukkur labor colony into temporary hospital for coronavirus patients.
Chief Minister has issued instructions to provide ventilators and fulfill all requirements of paramedical staff, doctors at the temporary hospital in Sukkur.
A coronavirus pandemic emergency care and cure center with isolation wards capable of treating 2,000 patients had recently been constructed at Labor colony, Sukkur.
Moreover, Murad Ali Shah has also decided to issue funds to union councils for the purchase and distribution of one million soaps among people in rural areas of Sindh.
Sindh government intends to acquire additional testing kits as the province has become the epicenter of virus pandemic in Pakistan with over 150 confirmed coronavirus cases.
