Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar highlighted the significance of changing the lifestyle in accordance with the coronavirus pandemic.
In a conversation with Punjab Law Minister – Raja Basharat, CM Usman Buzdar reiterated the need to adapt to the unprecedented circumstances caused by COVID-19 outbreak.
He stressed that the people need to learn to adapt to new social norms and rules in order to abide by the coronavirus preventive measure guidelines recommended by healthcare experts.
Furthermore, CM Usman Buzdar mentioned that the provincial government has successfully adapted to the virus situation and has already unjab Infectious Diseases (Prevention and Control) Ordinance 2020 to ensure the implementation of government SOPs, preventive measures and social distancing directives aimed at ensuring public safety.
It is to be noted that Punjab’s tally of coronavirus cases stands at 22,104 patients with 439 deaths so far.
