Prime Minister’s Corona Relief Tiger Force scheduled to be operationalized from today.
Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to hold a meeting via video link, to advice and discuss matters pertaining to Corona Relief Tiger Force with the elected members.
Special Adviser to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar is also expected to attend the meeting.
Prior to this, Usman Dar on Sunday, met with Prime Minister Imran Khan to discuss the operational readiness and capacity of the voluntary force.
Mr Dar has announced that the Corona Relief Tiger Force will begin its operation in Karachi from today (Monday). He has also accused Sindh government of not cooperating on the issues pertaining to the operations of Corona Relief Tiger Force in Sindh.
It is to be noted that Corona Relief Tiger Force, is a voluntary force that has been established on the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The relief force will assist provincial and local governments in ration distribution and other relief activities along with its primary function i.e. to identify unemployed labourers and needy families across the country and provide them with financial assistance via Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme amid COVID-19 crisis.
