Karachi: Sindh reports 61 new coronavirus cases raising the provincial tally to 627 with a total 1,836 cases in the country.
According to health minister Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, 57 new cases have been reported in Hyderabad, 2 in Jamshoro and 1 in Jacobabad. So far, 294 cases of COVID-19 have been tested positive in Karachi.
Dr. Azra informed the media that Sindh has conducted a total of 5,945 tests. Out of 627 confirmed cases, 41 have fully recovered and discharged from the hospitals.
A total of 1,836 confirmed coronavirus cases have been reported across Pakistan, 651 in Punjab, 627 in Sindh, 152 in Balochistan, 221 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 51 in Islamabad 128 in Gilgit Baltistan and 6 in Azad Kashmir region.
The death toll has risen to 23 while 57 patients have recovered from the novel virus in the country.
