Chief Of General Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Pakistan Air Force’s (PAF) Air War College Institute (AWI) and lauded PAF’s professionalism and role in preservation of national security and sovereignty, ISPR reported on Wednesday.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), COAS General Bajwa visited AWI in Karachi and praised PAF’s enviable achievements.
Army Chief urged the officers to make consistent efforts to keep abreast with modern developments and maintain cutting edge advantage.
Superiority in modern day battlefield can only be maintained if we remain alive to contemporary challenges and are prepared to tackle them in line with emerging modern concepts, said COAS.
We need to be vigilant in order to respond befittingly to any misadventure by the adversary, he added.
General Bajwa also visited Central Ordnance Depot Karachi (COD), where he was received by Lieutenant General Azhar Saleh Abbasi, Chief of Logistics Staff and Corps Commander Lieutenant General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum.
The Army Chief was briefed about upgradation of existing century old infrastructure of the depot on modern lines for provision of smooth logistics support.
