Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday, met with Jordanian Ambassador to discuss matters of mutual interests and bilateral ties between the two countries.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), COAS General Bajwa met with Jordanian Ambassador Yali Muhammad on Thursday to mull over matters pertaining to mutual cooperation and bilateral ties between the two countries.
“During the meeting matters of mutual interest including strengthening of bilateral security and defense cooperation between the two brotherly countries were discussed. Visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s continuous efforts for peace and stability in the region,”

Prior to this, COAS General Bajwa met with the outgoing Ambassador Paul W. Jones, United States Charge d’Affaires on Wednesday earlier this week.
Ambassador Paul W. Jones lauded Pakistan’s positive role for Afghan Peace and Reconciliation process and ensuring peace & stability in the region, whereas Army Chief thanked the senior diplomat for his services.
