Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday, met with Bosnian premier Šefik Džaferović at General Headquarters (GHQ).
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), COAS General Bajwa discussed matters of mutual interest, regional security and bilateral relations between the two countries with Šefik Džaferović – Chairman of Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The two dignitaries discussed bilateral cooperation in various fields including defense, technical expertise and joint ventures, said ISPR.
Meanwhile, Šefik Džaferović lauded Pakistan’s efforts in ensuring peace and stability in the region.
The Bosnian premier was greeted by a guard of honor upon his arrival at GHQ. He also laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada at GHQ.
Prior to this, Šefik Džaferović had met Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday. During the meeting, PM Imran Khan had highlighted the bilateral trade between two countries stands at 4.5 million Euros.
The Bosnian premier arrived in Pakistan on Wednesday on his maiden two-day visit to the country.
