Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, on Tuesday, arrived in Kabul for a day long visit to discuss matters pertaining to Afghan peace process.
COAS General Bajwa met with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and discussed Afghan Peace Process, bilateral relations, border security issues and various matters of mutual interests.
Director-General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lieutenant General Faiz Hamid and Pakistan’s Special Envoy to Afghanistan Mohammad Sadiq are also the part of delegation accompanying the army chief.

The visit comes after US special envoy Zalmay Khalilzad met with General Bajwa and army’s top brass on June 7 to discuss Afghan Reconciliation Process and Pak-Afghan border and repatriation of Afghan refugees.
