CNG stations across Sindh have been closed for a period of 72 hours and are scheduled to reopen on Thursday later this week.
As per the decision made by Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), CNG stations across Sindh have been closed for 72 hours starting from Monday (today) 8 am in light of substantial gas shortage.
CNG stations will now reopen on January 21st Thursday later this week, whereas LNG and other gas stations will remain closed, said an SSGC spokesperson.
The development comes as Pakistan is facing significant gas shortage with severe adverse effects for both commercial and non-commercial users.
Residential areas have continuously suffered from gas load shedding throughout winter season, whereas industries have also been facing notable reduction in productivity due to gas shortage.
