Chief Minister Sindh, Murad Ali Shah on Saturday inaugurated a newly constructed road adjacent to a popular turtle breeding spot, Sandspit which is also a part of the vast scenic coastline of Karachi.
The cost of construction incurred on the new road is in access of Rs456 million and will facilitate citizens who make their way to the spot for leisure and recreation and a fun time with the family at the beach.
CM Sindh talking to the media on the occasion said that the adjoining roads part of the development project will also be built soon.
Murad Ali Shah also announced that a parking lot with a capacity to hold 200 cars at a time is also being built in the proximity to benefit the people who come to visit the popular destination.
In addition to the road, he added, a concrete wall has been erected along it to stop sea intrusion.
