Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar lauded a successful awareness campaign in rural areas of Punjab on Wednesday.
He distributed food bags and directed them to send food items at the doorsteps of weak and aged people. Furthermore, he assured that the Punjab government is taking up all the necessary steps in order to protect the lives of the masses and emphasized that it is the public’s duty to ensure implementation on the government’s steps by isolating at homes.
“It is the fundamental responsibility of the government to properly look after destitute and poor people in dire need,” he said.
Usman Buzdar further commended administration, police, and doctors for showing their devotion and dedication in performing their official duties during the current circumstances. “I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all those for showing cooperation in this difficult time.”
He stressed that we will deal with all challenges effectively regarding combating coronavirus, eradicating dengue, launching a wheat procurement campaign and making proper Ramazan arrangements.
