KARACHI: The suggestion was given to increase the lockdown in Sindh to control the spread of the coronavirus pandemic to the Sindh government by China experts in a meeting with Dr. Azra Pechuho on Monday, in which doctors of private and public hospitals also supported the suggestion of foreign experts.
The experts from neighboring country China suggested the provincial government to not lift the lockdown on April 14, maintaining that it social distancing is the only way to curb the infection.
The team appreciated the efforts of Sindh government, also urged the provincial government to impose at least eight-week-long lockdown to reduce the patients and control the virus.
Meanwhile, the Chinese experts also met the Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and informed him that there were chances of increase in number of patients if the lockdown ends.
The CM also discussed with Chinese experts about suggestions to fight the pandemic.
