China has welcomed PM Imran Khan’s statement on Communist Party of China (CPC) in which the premier had praised it as a unique model of governance terming it an alternate to western democracies.
In a statement, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson – Wang Wenbin has praised PM Imran Khan’s remarks on CPC terming them as ‘appreciable’.
“I have noted the relevant report. Also noted that Prime Minister Imran Khan said that CPC has found a unique model and brought enormous developments for the Chinese society in its own way beating many Western democracies. We appreciate these remarks,” said the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson.
Furthermore, Mr Wang Wenbin noted that CPC’s 100-year journey has stunned the world and for which the credit goes to Chinese characteristics and fundamentals achieved through innumerable hardships and great sacrifices
We have upheld and developed the socialism with Chinese characteristics and driven coordinated progress in material, political, cultural, ethical, social and ecological terms, we have pioneered a new and unique Chinese path of modernization and created a new model for human advancement, added the Chinese Foreign Ministry official.
The development comes as PM Imran Khan while talking to Chinese media in Islamabad on the occasion of centenary celebrations of Communist Party of China (CPC) on July 1st last week, had praised CPC and President XI Jinping for their success in achieving poverty alleviation in China by uplifting 700 million people out of poverty.
PM Imran Khan had also termed CPC as a successful alternate to western democracy and highlighted that the CPC has introduced an alternative model and they have beaten all Western democracies in the way they have highlighted merit in society.
