Winner of Top Chef Masters and owner of successful retsuarnats in India and New York, Floyd Cardoz died of coronavirus complications at 59.
Cardoz was famous was infusing western recipes with his homeland flavors. He had traveled from Mumbai to New York via Frankfurt on March 8 and was admitted to Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair in New Jersey after he was tested positive for COVID-19 about a week ago.
