Islamabad: Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has limited private planes, operating domestically, to three airports across the country.
According to the notification issued by CAA, on Friday, chartered flights and private planes have been allowed to operate form airports in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
“Standard Operating Procedures have been approved by the competent authority, for domestic private aircraft flight operations restricted between Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad airports only.
The aviation regulatory authority has imposed strict regulations on flight operations in wake of COVID-19 outbreak in the country.
The companies operating private aircrafts have been directed to strictly abide by the guidelines issued by health department to ensure the safety of passengers and flight crew.
